Senior Event: Lunch and Safety First 101
Wednesday, September 27, 2023 — 11:30am
Lieutenant Tim Cicero, from the Carol Stream Fire Protection District, will be here to present a “Safety First 101” course. Tim will explain the benefits of having a “File of Life” at home and how to fill one out. He will explain what “Smart 911” is and how to register online. Lastly, we will learn about fire extinguishers and see what discharging an extinguisher looks like (outside). You will be able to purchase the same type of fire extinguisher that will be used in the demonstration.
Lunch, prior to the presentation, is from Tricafe.
Lunch includes tricolor tortellini and a cookie.
