Have you ever seen Bison up close? If not, join us to visit Broken Wagon Bison for your very own rare encounter with North America’s largest native land mammal. You’ll get a true sense of the awesome size, strength, and power of these remarkable animals as you watch the one-ton herd bull lumber by, and if the herd should break into a run, they can hit speeds of 35 to 50 mph and literally make the ground shake! We start with a classroom presentation, then a 30-minute wagon ride, followed by a stroll through the gift shop.

Our next stop is at Suzie’s Café in Valparaiso.

Choice of entrée at sign-up:

• 1/3 pound bison burger
• Patty melt with grilled onions and American cheese on marbled rye
• Hand breaded pork tenderloin sandwich
• Grilled cheese sandwich, American and Swiss, with tomato and bacon

All sandwiches are served with seasoned waffle fries and bread pudding. Drinks are available upon request.

Our final stop is at the Albanese Candy Factory Outlet, Home of the World’s Best Gummi Bears. They offer thousands of options including bulk candy, nostalgic candy, nuts and mixes, gift items, and of course the world’s best gummies and chocolates. Go crazy… buy as much or as little as you choose!
