Financial Assistance
The following are some ways General Assistance can help with financial needs. You may find others, or more detail about some of these, in the Resource Center. The General Assistance staff will also be able to help discuss your situation and explain available options.
General Assistance
Financial assistance for individuals who are pending disability or are between jobs.
Emergency Assistance
Help with rent, utilities, prescriptions and other needs.
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Assists low-income households by offsetting the rising cost of home energy through direct financial assistance, energy counseling, outreach and education See link below.
Salvation Army Assistance
Limited funds are available to assist those living in West Chicago.

Sticker Renewal
Stop in to renew your vehicle registration/license plate stickers. Bring your current registration, driver's license and exact cash or check (payable to Wayne Township). There is a $5 processing fee.
